I have used various data collection tools to collect data over many years. Having had the opportunity to work with organizations that heavily rely on survey tools to collect data, I had the rare chance to witness the good, the bad, and the ugly sides of these tools.
If you’ve used these tools long enough, you’ll start experiencing the pain points, as I did.
For example, a frequent problem I’ve run into is the inability to track the same survey taker across multiple forms. What we often end up doing is downloading the data from the survey tool into Excel and manually identifying the common survey taker across multiple forms. If you’ve done this practically, you already know the time required for something like this.
A second problem I’ve often seen is that these survey tools are frequently used to collect qualitative data, such as unstructured data like feedback text and PDF documents. But this isn’t a problem in itself. The problem starts when we want to use the insights from the qualitative data in a meaningful way – maybe we want to extract insights from the feedback text, for example, summarizing the top three problems highlighted by the survey taker.
A third problem is the lack of ability to collect clean and quality data. Many existing tools simply don’t offer proper collaboration capabilities that would allow us to go back to the survey taker and ask them to update some data they already provided or make corrections to the data they gave on a particular form. This forces us to send emails and make phone calls to get the updated data, leaving us with a mess of data that can’t be used to create reports, dashboards, or draw insights from it.
AI has advanced significantly, yet existing tools have a piecemeal approach to solving problems using AI.
I think data collection tools should do more and ours does.
Introducing Sopact Sense, an AI-first data collection tool that offers a refreshing take on systematic data collection, overcoming the common problems that plague existing systems.
There are three aspects that differentiate Sopact Sense from most of the tools out there:
Built-in lightweight CRM
Collect data from the same people across different forms? Quit struggling to piece together data from all these different forms. With our Relationships capability, multiple forms can be linked automatically, thanks to the Relationships engine. Our tool seamlessly keeps track of the same individuals across forms. If you’re already using a different CRM, Sopact Sense also imports this information into the system, so you can conduct downstream data collection without worrying about how to consolidate the data after collection is complete.
World-class qualitative data analytics, built-in
Collect qualitative data, open-text, comments, pdf documents? Do you go through these manually or have to download this on a spreadsheet to analyze? You may also be using another tool just to analyze this content? Forget multiple tools and manual work. Make use of our built-in qualitative data analytics.
Whether you are extracting some insights or summarizing top reasons for complaints.
Or maybe you are implementing a proprietary scoring methodology to rank and rate responses
You can do all of this using Sopact Sense.
AI-first designer quality reporting at your finger tips
Imagine not having to download this data and run reports on a different tool.
Imagine having access to a designer quality reports that are shareable as soon as the first record gets collected on your form.

Excellent collaborative features for those last-mile data corrections
With Unique Links capability every datapoint collected on Sopact Sense can be updated and corrected seamlessly. The best part, it can be corrected by the same survey taker that reported the data in the first place, minimizing the chances of having the wrong data stored. Imagine having a unique link to a particular datapoint on a survey such as “Profits for the year 2025” and the survey taker could get a unique link that can be used anywhere in the world with an internet connection to update this data. No emails, no phone calls, just seamless data updates and corrections.
